OOC: This blog is on hiatus until I say otherwise. Everybody have a good night.
“Chicago style.” he said opening the box to show her “Come on, rum, pizza, a game of twister.” he offered
She looked from her screen to the pizza and back again before looking up at him. “I’m so conflicted right now, you have no idea.” Sharon took off her glasses and pushed away from the desk. “Fine. You win.” She smiled and stood, taking the box and going after plates.
“I stopped by the liquer store brought home some rum and Pizza. Figure it would be one of those relaxing kinds of nights.” Chris set the bottle down on the counter and got some glasses for them “Come on, you’ve been working on reports all day. Its us time Mrs. Redfield.”
“I’m almost done, I just have two more to write up and I’m all yours.” She answered and kept typing away at the keyboard. Sure he’d probably manually drag her away from the computer but it was a risk she was willing to take. “What kind of pizza?”
“No go and get food. Save me some though.” She smiled.
Months passed, and Chris had finally settled down with Sharon. The two moved in with each other the day after the ceremony. It felt right, now that she was there “Sharon? You home?” he asked entering through the door, tossing his leather bomber jacket off placing it on the chair
Sharon was working on the computer, typing up reports for most of the day. “Yeah I’m in here.” She called out without looking away from the from the screen. It felt nice co-habitating with him, not that she spent a lot of time in her apartment before the ceremony but it was comfortable and one of those things that just felt right.
“I’d like that…” Sharon smiled into the kiss.
Sharon smiled and nodded. “I can probably live with that. I’ll do the same.” She answered.
That made her smile a little bit. Her hands were gripping his shirt gently. “And…?”
Sharon nodded. “And how do you plan on doing that?” Nobody wanted things to be right between them as much as she did.
“I don’t know, I left for months without telling you and I’ve put you through so much. You didn’t deserve that either.” She shrugged. “Don’t beat yourself up over it okay?”
